Century Freeway, officially named the I-105 Glenn M. Anderson (Century) Freeway Transitway, extends for 17.3 miles in a west-east direction, from Sepulveda Blvd near the Los Angeles International Airport to the I-605 Freeway. The freeway traverses nine cities in the County of Los Angles and interchanges with four freeways: Interstate Routes 405, 110, 710, and 605. Ed Cray (b. 1933) is a veteran journalist and associate professor of journalism at USC. The collection includes Volumes 1-18 (1949-67) of the liberal West Coast political weekly/monthly Frontier Magazine, edited by Phil Kerby. Cray often wrote for the publication. Also included are posters, photographs by Cray, and notes, typescripts and correspondence on Cray's publications, California politics and American foreign policy.

Jessie E. Dean was employed by the Los County Department of Charities from 1919 to 1943, and served as Supervisor in the successive Divisions of Outdoor Relief, County Welfare and Indigent Relief.
